President and Chief Executive Officer; Director
Mr. Sykes joined Black Box as President and Chief Executive Officer on February 29, 2016. He also was elected to the Board of Directors on that day. Mr. Sykes has a demonstrated track record of leading growth and profitability in a variety of challenging product and service businesses. He was President and CEO of Circuit Board Assemblers which was recognized as one the fastest growing companies in the nation when it was acquired by Flextronics International Ltd. He spent 14 years at Flextronics, starting as the North Carolina General Manager, where revenue grew from $20M to $200M, then as Vice President of the Guadalajara, Mexico operations, where revenue grew from $550M to $1B, and then as Group President of the Industrial and Emerging Products Group, where revenue grew from $625M to over $4B, leading the industry. Under Mr. Sykes, this international business group employed more than 35,000 employees, and operated in 60 manufacturing sites in 19 countries. The customer base was expanded to over 400 clients in 10 markets by structuring the services to address specific market needs and effecting niche acquisitions to fill technology gaps. Following his career at Flextronics, Mr. Sykes became the President and CEO of Switch Lighting, a Silicon Valley LED lighting company, where he reset the business strategy, drove operational improvements and focused on reinvigorating the company’s product line and partnerships.
Executive Vice President, Business Development, General Counsel and Secretary
Mr. Basso joined Black Box as Executive Vice President, Business Development, General Counsel and Secretary in January 2013. Prior to that, he provided services to Black Box for a number of years as lead legal partner at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney.
Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer
In October 2012, Mr. Huffmyer was named Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the Company. Prior to that, he served as Director of Finance from February 2008 and as Corporate Controller from 2004 when he joined Black Box.
Vice President and Chief Information Officer
Mr. Beckman joined Black Box as Vice President and Chief Information Officer on February 1, 2016. Prior to joining Black Box, Mr. Beckman was Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at RTI International Metals, Inc. Prior to RTI, Mr. Beckman held roles of increasing responsibility at Covestro AG (formerly Bayer Material Science), Kennametal Inc. and SERVISTAR Corporation.
Vice President, Operations – NACS
In March, 2015 Mr. Gannon was named VP, Operations – NACS. He is responsible for developing an integrated and functionally aligned Operations Organization capable of continuing to deliver superior solutions to our clients. Prior to his appointment as VP, Operations, Mr. Gannon was a Regional Vice President and has performed local, regional, and national leadership roles with a wide range of experience leading services, sales, and marketing. Mr. Gannon joined Black Box in 1998.
Vice President, Strategic Relationships
Mr. Laughlin was named Vice President, Strategic Relationships in March 2013. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Shared Services beginning in 2007. Prior to that, he served as part of the mergers and acquisitions team. He has been with the Company since 2005.
Vice President, Strategic Initiatives
Ms. Lyda is responsible for strategic initiatives, assuming responsibility for implementing programs that are critical to Black Box’s organizational transformation. Prior to May 2014, Ms. Lyda was responsible for Worldwide Technology Product Solutions at Black Box and also served as Vice President, North America and Asia/Pacific Rim Technology Product Solutions. Prior to that, she held various positions in purchasing, distribution, sales and marketing. She has been with the Company since 1994.
David M. Pasternak
Vice President of Human Resources
Mr. Pasternak joined Black Box as Vice President of Human Resources in April 2015. Prior to joining Black Box, Mr. Pasternak was the Vice President of Human Resources for Beacon Roofing Supply, Inc. (NASDAQ: BECN). Prior to Beacon, Mr. Pasternak held human resource positions of increasing responsibility at General Electric and Tyco International.
Mr. Whitney is responsible for Worldwide Technology Product Solutions. Prior to May 2014, Mr. Whitney was Vice President of the North & South America Technology Product Solutions Group and spent two years as Vice President of Global Product Management & Engineering. Prior to joining Black Box in 2008, Mr. Whitney held leadership positions at Johnson Outdoors Inc. and Eaton Corporation in product marketing, sales and engineering.
Vice President, Government Services
Mr. Williams is responsible for Global Government Services. Prior to October 2012, he headed the operations of the Company’s Voice Services and Federal Divisions. He has been with the Company since 1999.

Richard L. Crouch
Retired, General Partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP
Mr. Crouch was a General Partner with the firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP from 1979 to 2004, having served as an audit partner principally assigned to public companies. He served in various capacities for the firm, including as a regional accounting, auditing and SEC services consultant. He retired from PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2004.
Richard C. Elias
Retired, Senior Vice President – Optical and Specialty Materials, PPG Industries, Inc.
Mr. Elias served as the Senior Vice President – Optical and Specialty Materials of PPG Industries, Inc. from July 2008 through March 30, 2014. From April 2000 through June 2008, Mr. Elias held the position of Vice President, Optical Product of PPG Industries, Inc. He retired on April 1, 2014. Mr. Elias is a director of Universal Display Corporation.
Thomas W. Golonski
Retired, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, National City Bank of Pennsylvania
Mr. Golonski served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of National City Bank of Pennsylvania and Executive Vice President of National City Corporation from 1996 to 2005. He retired from National City in 2005. He is a director of several educational and healthcare organizations and active in other charitable organizations.
Thomas G. Greig
Senior Managing Director, Liberty Capital Partners
Mr. Greig has been a Senior Managing Director of Liberty Capital Partners, a private equity partnership, since 1998. He is also a director of publicly-held Rudolph Technologies, Inc. and a privately-held company.
John S. Heller
Retired, Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Caterpillar Inc.
Mr. Heller retired from Caterpillar Inc. in February 2012. He held a number of positions of increasing responsibility at Caterpillar during a 38-year career, last serving as Vice President and Chief Information Officer for more than the last 5 years.
William H. Hernandez
Retired, Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer, PPG Industries, Inc.
Mr. Hernandez was the Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of PPG Industries, Inc. from 1995 until October 2009. He joined PPG in 1990 as Controller and was named Vice President and Controller in 1994. Mr. Hernandez is a director of Albermarle Corporation, Northrop Grumman Corporation and USG Corporation, all publicly-held companies.

Joel T. Trammell
Managing Partner, Lone Rock Technology Group and Chief Executive Officer, Khorus, Inc.
Mr. Trammell is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Khorus, Inc., a provider of software-based management systems, since 2013. He also is a Managing Partner of Lone Rock Technology Group since 2011 and Lake Austin Advisors since 2011. Mr. Trammell was a founder and the CEO of CacheIQ, Inc. from June 2010 until it was acquired by NetApp, Inc. in November 2012. Previously, he was a founder and served as the CEO of NetQoS, Inc. from June 2000 to November 2009.
